DA: O Gather Your Party

I'm such a huge Dragon Age Fan. This is my favorite party for Origins(My Warden, Morrigan, Alistair, and Oghren if you couldn't tell). I tweaked the armor designs a little. A year or so ago I was trying to build up an archive of fan art to post online. However I kept getting bored/frustrated/disappointed with the results. I realized it was because I was trying to duplicate the armors and other visual elements exactly. The problem was a) I didn't have the skill or knowledge to create realistic armors that fit my art style and b) trying to exactly replicate someone else's designs was boring.

I tried to experiment and give each character their own body type and posture. I'd say poor Alistair is the worst off because he got crammed into the middle.

My "Main" Warden: A Dual Wielding Dalish Rogue. When I designed him years ago I basically just wanted an expy of Link. The tunic/ green cape are sort of a reference to that. Here I gave him the parts I liked from the Heavy Chainmal Armor and the braid because it looked kinda Celtic to me.

Morrigan: She's supposed to be a lithe and beautiful. I thought I'd be play with that a little and make her attractive but a bit of a stork, all neck and legs. I'm not sure if that comes across though(she was supposed to be taller than Alistair). I never liked the original outfit so I gave her something with the same basic design but warmer.

Alistair: He's off in the clouds somewhere just happy not to be in charge. I gave him the basic Chainmail armor. I also wanted to create a link between him and Mahariel since they're both Grey Wardens so they have the same Blue/Grey color scheme. Otherwise he's pretty much the same as in-game I think.

Oghren: Ah, Oghren. I love this drunk, obnoxious, stinky berserker. He's wearing pieces of the Massive Dwarven Armor over a red tunic and what's supposed to be chainmail. Also his default item, One for the Ditch, is strapped close at hand. He may or may not be slightly hung over.
